• Originally from Ngunnawal Country, Amanda grew up as a National level Gymnast before diverting her focus to Contemporary Dance. Amanda went on to study a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts, before winding up with a Bachelor of Circus Arts from the National Institute of Circus Arts.

    Amanda spent the early years of her professional acrobatic career working and touring with internationally renowned acrobatic companies C!RCA Contemporary Circus and Gravity & Other Myths.

    After her years of working as an award winning ensemble acrobat, Amanda founded the multi-award winning, critically acclaimed Sound of Circus Australia.

    Amanda is passionate about magnifying the inherent power of Circus to drive urgent social conversation.

  • Born on Kaurna Land, Nathan grew up training in classical piano. Since the beginning of his training, Nathan’s creative practise has been deeply influenced by Hip-Hop, Jazz and Soul.

    With a Bachelor of Music, Nathan’s creative career ranges from playing with artists such as Allday, Nelson Dialect and Cazeaux O.S.L.O., as well as supporting artists such as multi-grammy nominated Hiatus Kaiyote. With Adelaide based Hip-Hop Jazz Band Nu Article, Nathan has performed at events such as WOMADelaide and has created and performed an original score for Gravity & Other Myths.

    As the Musical Director for Sound of Circus Australia, Nathan is passionate about exploring the powerful connection between music and movement.
